The Intelligent Sensing Team has a new member. Dr Agamemnon Krasoulis joined us in May as a postdoctoral research associate. Agamemnon graduated from School of Informatics at the University of Edinburgh. He is interested in developing and applying statistical signal processing and machine learning methods to real-world problems, e.g. brain-machine interfaces for motor rehabilitation and upper-limb myoelectric prostheses. Agamemnon’s publications can be found here:
Agamemnon will be working within the remit of EPSRC Healthcare Technology Award. Specifically, he will be looking in the interaction of pattern recognition and sensorimotor learning in the control of myoelectric prostheses.
